Release 2026.09.30-R1

Last reviewed: 2026-09-30

Scope: Customer-facing summary of the 2026.09.30-R1 release.

Exporting documents

  • CSV export from the Sales, Self-billed and Purchase document lists now runs in the background. When the file is ready, you receive an email with a link to download it, so a large export no longer fails with a timeout. This applies to every CSV export from these lists, whatever its size. JSON export is unchanged.
  • In Bulk Actions → Export Invoices, the Invoice Type filter now lets you select more than one type, or All. With no type selected, every type is exported.
  • Fixed: exporting from the Purchase invoice list included credit and debit notes, and left out documents created on the last day of the date range you chose.

Purchase documents

  • Purchase invoice, credit note, debit note and refund note pages now show fields that were submitted to LHDN but not displayed before. These include billing frequency and period, payment mode and terms, exchange rate, unit of measurement, rounding and prepayment amounts, total amount exempted from tax, import and export details (such as Incoterms, customs form numbers and FTA information), other charges, the certified exporter authorisation number, the supplier's bank account number, and prepayment and bill reference details.
  • Purchase invoices received through MyInvois now sync reliably after an interruption. Syncing resumes from the last point it reached, instead of looking back only two days.

Requests

  • Fixed: a request whose invoice LHDN rejected, and which was then edited and resubmitted, disappeared from the Request module. It now stays there, and the invoice still appears in the Invoice tab.
  • Fixed: on the e-invoice request form, switching Nationality to Foreigner removed Malaysia from the Country list and made the State field show a code instead of a name. Malaysia now stays available for either nationality.

General TINs

  • Fixed: the General Public check added in 2026.09.24-R1 could also block documents that use another general TIN with registration number NA, such as the government TIN EI00000000040. It now applies only to the General Public identity (EI00000000010 with NA), which LHDN accepts only on consolidated e-invoices.

API integrations

  • The document identifier returned when you submit a document through the API (invoice_uuid) now works with document retrieval straight away, whatever state the document is in. That includes drafts, documents that failed validation and documents tagged for consolidation. Before, it could return "not found" until the document became an invoice.
