Scope: Customer-facing summary of the 2026.10.06-R1 release.
Uploading invoices
Invoice lines uploaded from a file now require a unit price. If your files leave unit price blank, add it, or make sure each line carries both a subtotal and a quantity so the unit price can be calculated.
- Invoice lines uploaded from a file now require a unit price. If a line has no unit price but does have a subtotal and a quantity, the unit price is calculated from them. If it cannot be calculated, the invoice is marked Validation failed with the reason
Missing required field: unit_price, and still appears in your list so you can correct it. The upload preview flags the missing value before you submit. A line with a unit price but no quantity is still accepted. This applies to invoices uploaded through the portal and sent by SFTP. - Fixed: an uploaded invoice with a line missing an amount could arrive with no lines at all and fail with a message that did not say what was wrong. The line is now kept, and anything missing is reported against the field it belongs to.
- An invoice uploaded from a file, sent by SFTP, or created through the API with no invoice time is now submitted with a time of 00:00, instead of being rejected for a missing time. An invoice you create in JomeInvoice keeps the time you saved it, and an invoice that already carries a time is unchanged.
- Uploading a file now creates the new Customers it names, and for self-billed documents the new Suppliers, following your workspace's auto-registration settings. Before, in some workspaces, a row naming a Customer that was not already on file failed instead of creating one.
- Fields that must be mapped for e-invoice submission are now marked on the Direct Upload mapping template screen, across the Supplier, Buyer, Line Item, Tax and Invoice Totals tabs, both when you create a template and when you edit a saved one. This is a display change; what is required in order to save a template is unchanged.
Exporting documents
- Export CSV from the Customers or Suppliers list now includes every record whatever its status — Approved, Pending Approval and Awaiting — instead of only the tab you are viewing. You no longer need to export each tab separately.
- When you export invoices to CSV from the API tab, you can now filter by one or more API sources, and every row in the file carries an API Source column. A record with no known source system reads Legacy API. This applies to Sales and Self-billed, on both the Outbound and Inbound views. Exports from other tabs are unchanged.
Consolidation
- In Bulk Actions → Submit to Non-Consolidated, the Invoice exceeds RM10K filter now includes an invoice of exactly RM10,000.00. Before, only invoices above RM10,000.00 were matched.
Invoices and documents
- Fixed: invoice PDFs you download now use the invoice number as the file name instead of an internal reference. This covers View/Print and Regenerate PDF on an invoice, View PDF and Regenerate PDF on a request, and bulk download.
- Fixed: a Customer's SST registration number now appears on a draft invoice when it is recorded against that Customer.
- Fixed: amounts now show a space between the currency code and the figure.
- Fixed: if you changed a Customer's tourism tax registration number before submitting an invoice, the earlier value could still be the one sent for validation, so the invoice could be rejected even after you had corrected the number. The current value is now used.
Notifications
- Fixed: invoice notification emails were not showing the Customer's name or the invoice type, although the email settings were set to include them. Both now appear.
Settings
- Teams settings now has a toggle in the Sources section for the tab holding invoices uploaded to JomeInvoice, so you can grant or withhold access to it for a team as you can for the other sources.
