Release 2026.10.23-R1

Scope: Customer-facing summary of the 2026.10.23-R1 release.

Customers and Suppliers

  • A new Customer/Supplier Data Source setting, under Settings → Workspace Settings → General → Other Settings, replaces Customer/Supplier Auto Registration. It decides what happens after a document from your SFTP feed, Direct Upload or the API is matched against your saved customers and suppliers:
    • Follow Submission Data: your source system is the master list. A matched record is updated from the document, a new record is created when nothing matches, and the document shows exactly the details it was sent with.
    • Follow Jome Data: you maintain customers and suppliers in JomeInvoice. Documents are matched against your saved records and never create or change one. A document that matches nothing fails, for you to review.
  • Existing workspaces were moved to the matching option. A workspace that had automatic registration on, which was the default, is now on Follow Submission Data: it updates matched records, and its documents carry the address they were sent with. A workspace that had it off is on Follow Jome Data. Check the setting before your next feed. Under Follow Submission Data, send the full address on every document, because a missing address is not filled in from the saved record.
  • SFTP & API Matching Identifiers has been redesigned. With Custom Matching off, which is the default and the recommended choice, JomeInvoice compares Name, TIN, Registration Number and Registration Type. Workspaces created before this release keep comparing Name, TIN and Registration Number, so their screen shows Custom Matching on. Email is no longer a matching identifier.
  • A Customer Code on a document is now matched on its own. A document carrying a code links to the record with that code, whatever the other identifiers say, and a code belongs to one record in a workspace.
  • Each document now keeps its own copy of its buyer's or supplier's details. Editing a saved customer or supplier later does not change the documents already created from it.
  • An email address is no longer required to create a customer or supplier from a document, or to submit a document to LHDN.

The full rules are in How buyers and suppliers are matched and Workspace Settings.
